Our school promotes a positive learning environment for students by implementing a variety of programs practices. Exemplary behavior is recognized with positive comments, awards, stickers, public recognition, reward time at the counseling center, just to name a few. Counselors provide opportunities for students to learn good work habits, develop problem-solving skills, resolve conflicts, and enhance self-esteem.
Class Size
To ensure each student receives an appropriate level of individual attention and support, class sizes are kept as small as possible. In grades UTK-3, each class has a 1:24 ratio of adults to students. In grades 4-5, each class has a 1:34 ratio of adults to students. This is possible in part through funding provided by California.
